As a Scrum Master, you will partner with Engineers and Product Owners to apply Scrum processes and best practices in a software engineering setting. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, drive communication, lead without authority, ensure processes are followed, coordinate activities and events, and teach teams how to self-organize. You will support the Product Owner and Engineering Managers by guiding them on how to properly prepare for all Scrum ceremonies, ensure the necessary inputs for Release planning are in place, and ensure all parties are well-aligned. You will also maintain visibility of all aspects related to your team’s Sprint health, follow up on escalations and prioritization changes, and coordinate with other teams to track inter-dependencies. You will be relentless in searching for better ways for the organization to operate, identify process inefficiencies, and drive getting consensus from stakeholders to make those improvements happen. You will value Scrum principles and help coach and promote them across the organization. You’ll be working on some of the most important projects in the company, and have the opportunity to make a huge impact on UJET’s success. Every day you’ll be making our services and our processes better!

(Thanks CultureAmp who came up with this statement - it’s too good and too important to not repeat).
